Notification for user availability + setting to turn this off or on.
As a boardowner / teamleader, it would be helpful to receive a notification when a teammember (board user) inputs their availability via My Schedule. I have a small team, with volunteers who choose when they want to roster themselves - both the day and the hours. To have them indicate their availability and for me to receive a notification of this would be immensely helpfull. I understand that for teams of 100s of people, this would create 100s of notifications. That is why the request is also about a setting to turn this on or off so people can choose based on their need.

We just released the new availability, which gives you one place to see these updates. Under Team there's a new Availability tab. Its Changes list shows every availability change your volunteers make in My Schedule: who made it, which days and hours, and when.
In Availability settings (the gear in that tab) you choose how changes work:
Colleagues set it themselves: changes apply right away and show under Changes.
Colleagues request, a planner approves: changes wait for you, and the button shows how many are waiting ("Changes · 2 waiting").
It isn't a push or email notification yet. Those are planned for a later version. When we build them, would you rather get one notification per change, or a daily summary?
