Events with a default Activity.
It should be possible to set an activity (or set of activities) for an event before anyone signs up, and have that activity apply to anyone who signs up.

As far as implementation, have an option to set default activity. That inserts a 'Default' user into the list, and you can set the activity for the default placeholder, and anyone who is assigned (or signs up manually) gets whatever activities are on the default user.

Obviously, with a real implementation the appearance of the placeholder could be altered to be different than a real user. I just created a fake user to create the screenshot, but a real 'Default' entry should have a somewhat different appearance to a real employee for clarity.

We use Activities as the primary way to map tasks, which I believe is the best practice for Soon. That activity could be 'Cashier' or 'Answer Phones' or whatever other tasks are core to the business.
The way I've seen scheduling done, most shifts will come with a primary activity; when you sign up for a shift, you know what activity you'll be doing because it's core to the shift. But Soon does not have a way to automatically assign activities to a shift until after someone signs up; this makes scheduling a lot more tedious than it needs to be.
There will always be exceptions of course, where activities need to be customized after employees grab them, but I believe the much more common use case is that a manager knows what activities are required for the shift before someone accepts it and Soon does not yet support this use case well.
